I really enjoyed this day. Until I get the dvd I'm not goin to coment on the downs lows an end betweens. Cause I need to rewatch a lot of hours to refresh.
The fact that michelle was pregrant was probably in my top 3. But I'm not sure I liked tony playing both sides.
Hope you all enjoyed the final 2. Can't wait for the final day.

great season but there is still a few minor question that they never resolve.........Sean Hillinger after he is takne and arrested, nothing is mentioned of him again?

I for one thought it was freaking awesome. But like Dean said I have to watch it again, probably after the first 6 to fully grasp my opinions. Loved how Tony ended though and his last scene.

I think the first half of the season kicked ass and had a lot of potential. but they screwed it a lot in the second half and it became very predictable

Great season, although still pretty unbelievable. Michelle or not, Tony to me wasn't the type to kill thousands of people and he was about to in episode 22. But they did a good job making it somewhat believable.
The real-time aspect gets worse by the season. It seems they're always 5 or 10 minutes away from where they want to go. And there are a lot more examples. But I don't mind. The show has to keep going, so it understandable. The story around the president was a pretty good one. There were seasons where the side-story was a lot less interesting. The husband of president Taylor seemed to be pretty fit in episode 23 and 24 though. He was just about dead not even a day ago, so his recovery is a miracle Wink

All in all a pretty good season. In my season top 7 it's on #4. The first three seasons are still the best.

I thought the season was pretty good. I'd rank it in the top 3 of all the seasons. I was a bit disappointed that Garafolos character didn't get smoked but I don't think she will be back for S8 so that's ok.

I wasn't exactly crazy about yet another dysfunctional First Family but I suppose ya gotta make the characters interesting somehow. I think my least favorite character is/was Olivia followed closely by her Dad.

I was banned from the Fox 24 community for saying her character sucked and then calling out the moderator for erasing my post. I hope this message board stays around because there is more objectivity here and the MODS don't seem to be jerks like over there.

Overall S7 was pretty darn good IMO. I look forward to posting here more and for S8.

Great season! It's gonna suck to have to wait such a long time for day 8.

I apreciated the fact that although tony turned out to be bad, they didn't kill him off. That means we are going to see more of those jack/tony storylines on season 8 and that is just gonna be freakin' awesome.

You don't know if Tony returns in season 8. It could be they just didn't want to kill him off (again), but that he won't be a part of day 8. I'm not sure if I want him to be part of day 8.

Great season, plot was a little convoluted at times (I didn't mind this) but overall it was very good especially the last 2 episodes. 9/10

I haven't seen most of Season 4 or 5 yet and none of 6 (though I know what happens in most and who the main characters are, etc) so my opinion is bound to change possibly, but I would place this season as the 4th best (but very close to 3rd) Seasons 1 - 3 was pure epic television and I don't think it can be touched though this season was very close.

i think i can safely say that series 7 is my 3rd favourite after the 1st and 4th. for a while it was in danger of falling down the peaking order cos of the Tony revelation toward the end, but they managed to save that one.

A very good season. It just lost some pace and direction for a couple of episodes but the finale sorted that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, everything from the Whie House raid and on was excellent. For me, the Starkwood plot was easily the highlight of the season. The White House raid was excellent, and the canister sub-plot was decent.

BUT....

The first half of the season was god-awful. Ike Dubaku was a good villian, but he had to work with a terrible sub-plot....the CIP device. The episodes with that involved the CIP device were horrible. Jack and Tony's infiltration of Emerson's crew had its moments, but for the most part: The first half of the season was boring plot-lines after boring plot-lines.The season premieres (first four episodes) were also pretty lame.

So, I'd say this season is pretty good. The first half sucked, but the last half managed to redeem most the droll that transpired during the first half of the season. Indeed, for the last half was superb. All in all, good year...I'm pumped for Season 8.

After 18 episodes I would have rated amazing, then it went downhill for me quickly that I almost would have picked "it was ok...", but the finale was good and satisfying for me, so I voted "pretty good". It had some ups and downs, but definately more ups. Now bring on season 8!

To be honest up until Starkwood went boom I would very probably have rated this my favourite season yet. However since then it has got worse and worse ending in what is my opinion the worst season finale 24 has had (including season 2 and 6 both of which I thought were reasonably poor...at least 6 had the Heller/Bauer scene). Still overall it was an amazing season.

To be honest I enjoyed S7 the least out of all so far! I was not totally convinced by Tony as a bad guy and thought that the internal politics and President's family conflicts paled in comparison for both suspense & drama compared to that of all its predecessors. I just thought it was the weakest for everything; including action, characters, twists whilst also claiming the crown for being the most predictable. Don't get me wrong, it's 24 and I still love it but if this was the 1st season that I had watched It would never have sucked me in like the rest!

Superb season I think, I think the way the writers and all re-invented the show was excellent. Kept me gripped throughout with a good amount of twists and excellent storylines. It might just eclipse Season 5 as my favourite season.

It was a another great day; but i just feel alot was left out. I really wanted to see more Morris, and what he does best, he's really great at playing the comedic relief role, and i usually hate those characters in a show, but he was brilliant at it.

I really like the nods to some of the past charcters, namely clhoe's baby being named after Milo Prescott, and of couse, Kim naming her daughetr , Terri.

The Tony thing just got played out, and we liked being fooled, but it was too expected from the show he had an alternative motive ... but, it was a great mtoive, and when it turned out who he really was after, and why, really made up for it , in the end.

I'm like others in this topic, I can't wait to rewatch the seaosn all over, there's going to be so much to pick up on in the earlier episodes that i've completely forgotten about.

Oh, the invasion of the Whie House, probably one of the best and most intense scenes of all 24, almost!

but, the season did have the weakest finale ending up to the last season, and i feel it was the writer's way to get Kim's character back in the good graces of fanbs, since she'll probably be returning, even if not as a permament cast member, she'll have some significant role ... seeing as the whole movie careeer thing hasn't been great for her, lately.

First time poster here.......season 7 was pretty good in my opinion. They have had better seasons to be honest. The second half of the season was definitely better than the first half. I still rank season's 5, 2, and 1 as being better than this one.

I will say that think that Tony last few scenes were some of the best that i have seen on the show. It almost had me feeling sympathetic for the reasons that he was doing the things that he was doing.

Can't wait for season 8!!!

Season 7 was AMAZING! It'sgot me totally back into 24 again. I'm watching all of them through on DVD now, and even playing 24: The Game between Season 2 and 3.

Carlos Bernard made a great performance in his final scene as Tony, and the revealing that Michelle was pregnant was also great.

And once again, Jack Bauer kicked ass!

i loved season 7 and iwas glad that jack did not kill tony all the way when i heard the real reason from tony i was sad because i had no idea about michelle damn anyway i just hope tony almeida return for season 8

tony has quite a few episodes under his belt now - it would be great to see him redeem himself and help save the crisis in Season 8
