David Anders Joins Cast of 24

British actor to star alongside Kiefer Sutherland

Former Alias frontman and Heroes star David Anders been booked for multiple episodes for the eighth season of 24, E! Online reports.

The 28 year-old is heading to 24 for a ‘handful of episodes’, in what may well be the final season of the show. Having played the bad-guy in his two previous roles, it seems Anders new ‘alias’ won’t be too much of a stretch. Sources reveal he’ll take on the role of Josef Bazhaev, the son of an Eastern European mobster; a ‘dangerous but catious man’.

Anders joins a host of new castings on ‘24,’ including the likes of Freddie Prinze Jr., Katee Sackhoff, Jennifer Westfeldt, Nazneen Contractor, Anil Kapoor, Chris Diamantopoulos and John Boyd. The upcoming season, which hits US screens next January, sees the streets of New York City with a newly designed CTU and a very different Jack Bauer, transformed after his near-death experience.

Should be good. He was good in both Alias and Heroes.

I can't see David Anders as a good guy.

At the moment it seems that he will portray a "good" guy... But hopefully that changes Laughing

I can't wait to see him in this show. I loved him in Alias. For what it's worth, however, although his two biggest roles have seen him playing British characters, he is actually American. He comes from Oregon.
