Go to Profile. In the text next to Signature.
Get a direct link to an image, post the link in the text field and put image tags at the start and end. | Code: | | [img]directlinkhere[/img] |

This really should have been posted in the Help section, but I'll let it slide 
You edit your signature and put the URL of the image in between tags like this:
| Code: | | [img]image URL here[/img] |
Example:
| Code: | | [img]http://24forum.net/templates/myff_241/images/24forumbutton.png[/img] |
will produce:
