I agree, I liked Edgar, but he wasn't my favorite. He was just kind of there. The only reason I remember his death is because of Chloe. I think his kill was either just another dramatic moment that it seems like they love to put into the show or just a way to kill him off the show because his character really wasn't all that important.

I remember when i first watched that episode.

I didn't mind Edgar. I didn't hate him but i didn't love him.

I can't remember watching David get shot but anyone else who watched it, did you see it coming? could you tell her was going to die? Or did they show it in the trailers? I can't remember if it was predictable or not.

Although Palmer's death was sad, I liked it a little cause that's the whole beauty of the show. You can' expect anything. Anyone could die at any time. This is one of the major factors for the show's success.

Yeah, I think the ratings went through the roof with just that episode. They need to do something of that quality again.

There's no one left in the cast that's up to Palmer's status. The only one is Jack and that wont happen, not yet anyway. Maybe Chloe though but i doubt it.

I don't think they'll ever kill Chloe off.

She's just one of those characters that wont can't be, like Kim and Audrey.

Mind you, I thought that about Tony...

Okay, IMO, the ONLY character immune to being killed off at any time, is Jack. But I am still sure they're gonna kill him off eventually. Now it's just a matter of how. I also think they could finish the story any other way. It would be too open ended, and we have to remember that Jack has tried to escape by faking his own death before, so faking just wouldn't work.

I would say that Michelle was kinda like Chloe and if they killed Michelle then Chole can die too.

I don't know, although this is 24, I never saw a lot the deaths coming. Chappelle, Palmer, Terri, etc.. But even by S4, I was pretty used to the fact that everyone's gonna get offed at some point.

theres even a vid on Youtube of Kiefer describing how he wants Jack killed off, but he says the writers never listen to him anyways. lol

I was shocked when they kill David Palmer. (Most of you know that I liked his character)
But it was predictable, he was never nervous only at that moment, you could feel it.

He was kinda done anyways. He had some good storylines, was President, was Vice-president, saved Jack, etc... I guess it was just his time.
