Yeah you're right, but at least she has Classic Rock on there.

But I don't like all kinds of music! I don't like rap, or death-metal, and some other genres I can't think of right now...

And for a sample of gypsy-jazz, try the The John Jergenson Quintet.

I despise rap. It's the gum on the bottom of society's shoe.

I hate rap too, but anyways that gypsy jazz was pretty funny and the weirdest thing I have ever heard.

I've seen those guys live twice now. It's amazing how fast they can play.

Yeah they can play fast, but I prefer going to see The Who play live.

No, they're like some kind of cross between country, folk, rock... Johnny Horton meets the Pogues.

i listen to mostly 'rock', although i use that word loosely. most people would refer to it as 'indie' or 'alternative' (guitar-based rock) but i loathe those terms cos 'indie' originally meant 'independent' but now has been hijacked to mean acts like The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs. and 'alternative' simply isnt actually alternative either! The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs simply cant be 'alternative' nor 'indie...

i listen to some dance/techno and pop as well. depends if it's good or not i guess! its easier for me to list some of the stuff i listen to:

Cocteau Twins
My Bloody Valentine
Manic Street Preachers
Bloc Party
The Cure
Radiohead
Smashing Pumpkins
Editors
Bat For Lashes
Asobi Seksu
School of Seven Bells
Doves
Film School
Bruce Springsteen
Orbital
Chemical Brothers
Faithless
Little Boots
Pet Shop Boys
Joy Division
The Clash
Sigur Ros

Hebrew Liturgical, Gregorian Chant, Klezmer anyone? no? oh well . . . no, i like most kinds of genres.  musical styles don't often turn me off, just words that are either offensive or unintelligible.  but i'm not a prude either.  likin' yer stuff, Josephine!
