Tony screaming "You killed my son!" was just about the most awesome Tony (and even 24) moment ever. I picked up on his reasoning a minute before he revealed it and i liked it.
As for the ending, i reckon they should've used this line.
Kim: "You are gonna get better... and meet your granddaughter"
BOOM. Clock sounds. |

I know i was really hoping we would get to see Jack being told he had a granddaughter.
Still great ending though Jacks last confession was so emotional. |

Holy shit that was AWESOME!!! 10/10
I rank that finale with Season 1 or 2...pure freaking brilliance. Carlos Bernards performance was incredible...that scene with Wilson and Jack was just pure freaking awesomeness.....MAN I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! |

It was so damn sad seeing jack in that coma. As for kims 'damnit'. Hahah I loved it. I looked at my gf an said like father like daughter. I think kims goin to be a big big part next season.
As for the confession I liked it. I can see why they did it. But a lot of unopen minded christians will not like it.
About tony. Holy f*ckin shit I can't believe michelle was pregnant. That makes her death that much more tragic. I'd rank it with terris death in day 1. So I can understand tonys logic an jacks.
Hope you all enjoyed it. I sure did. |

Also, about Tony's final scene. I really liked how he didn't say 'pregnant'. That, for me, would've made it cheesy and cliche. His performance as well made it original.
And the writing wrapped things up pretty good i thought. It was all for his wife and son. |

When I hadn't seen the last two episodes I didn't think this season was that great. The Tony twist ruined it for me. It was totally unbelievable. But I must admit, the writers did a fantastic job the last two episodes. They made Tony's actions somewhat believable. Still not 100% believable - I mean, in episode 22 he was about to kill thousands and thousands of innocent people - but I didn't think there would be any way to make it somewhat believable.... but they did! Good job.
It was indeed a bit weird that Jack still doesn't know he he has a grandchild. Kim had two or more scenes with others where she mentioned Teri, so my guess was that she would tell Jack also (this season). Strange. Maybe they dropped it in the rewrite (it seemed the final 6 episodes were rewritten at some point).
The final Chloe scene was very entertaining. When she walked away, she smiled in the camera. Good moment.
Fantastic scene when Tony explained that Michelle was carrying his son. Carlos is a limited actor, but he nailed that scene perfectly. That was his highlight, without a doubt.
I'm very glad that it was Kim who saved the day. Another Kim kidnapping would have been a very bad choice. Kim's scenes were fantastic as well. Elisha looked gorgeous btw. Better than ever. I'm a bit afraid of what part they will give her next year. Let's hope they come up with something great.
Next season will be Jack and Renee fighting terrorism |

I loved the Chloe/Janis scene at the end i think thats one of the only times ive actually liked Chloe lol.
It was so awesome when Renee was on the side of that SUV shooting those guys.
And Kim really proved herself to be Bauer in the finale Stabbing that woman with a pen, her dammit, following that guy, climbing into a burning car, these two woman are just kick-ass.
I know we were all probably waiting for Jack to wake up once the straps had been removed but i wasnt expecting him to slash the guys throat lol just goes to shows hes still got 'it'. lol |

I had a feeling Jack was faking his unconsciousness. It still surprised me though when he killed all those doctors within a matter of seconds. He pulled a Nina!
Also I'm glad Kim wasn't actually kidnapped. I wouldn't mind if she WAS kidnapped but the way it was done was great. Plus she was kicking ass (and looking gorgeous while doing it). On a side note, poor her for getting lit ON FIRE! LOL, Kim never catches a break does she?
Tony screaming "You killed my son" was the best part for me. It was so well acted and it showed how far gone Tony has become. His turn makes sense though and I hope they expand on this in Season 8.
Chloes end scene with Janis was fantastic and I loved the "I'm staying for Jack" (Oh and Thank GOD the writers didn't kill off Morris)
I don't get why people think just because Jack asked a Muslim to help him forgive himself for the things he has done that it means he is going to become a Muslim. He won't be a Muslim, guaranteed. He was just trying to let go and die in peace.
Anyway great season finale |

Jerbsinator. I dunno bro he may become a muslim. I think it would be a good twist considering most the people jack faces are muslim. Although muslim extremist.
Anyway I enjoyed your post jerb. Some good points about kim that I think we will all stand behind. |

I agree with Jerbsinator hes not turning muslim, he just wanted to be forgiven for what hes done in his life and to die at peace the huy just happened to be muslim and it probably helped that they had a history alll be it a very short one. |

Anyone else think that Renee and the main bad guy (can't remember name) knew each other?? Noticed the looks they both gave to ea. other. I was thinking he was her father or something. And when she took off her badge and walked in, I thought she was gonna break him out and that Moss wasn't dead afterall. Any thoughts? |

yeah i really liked it as well. seris 7 was treading water for a while after Tony 'went bad again', but this has gone some way to fix that.
Tony's logic made sense as well. i mean, what did Tony have to gain by leaking the information about the White House attack anyway? if the President had been killed in Juma's raid, the private military firms wouldve benefited as she was trying to shut them down anyway. from his double-crossing he did save lifes.
as for the CIP? well it was part of the deal to secure the bio-weapon in the first place from Sangala, so that one doesnt quite hang together in terms of logic. unless im missing something.
in alot of ways, Jack's talk with Renee really bought out what Tony was getting at. 'make the choices that you can live with' and for Tony, he was willing to launch the bioweapon attack in order to get to, and bring down Wilson, whereas Jack wouldnt have. like i, and many others have said, one of the main themes throughout 24 series 7 is 'does the end justify the means' and this resonated through to the President as well throughout thr story, and in the finale, with having to choose between covering up for her daughter or turning her in. |

I really enjoyed the finale :=)
I thought Tony was awesome...his speech about Michelle and his unborn child was very moving..but when he was taken away and was screaming at Jack "you're one of them now...and what would Terri think of you" i thought that was cool.
Renee was bad-ass!! I didnt really like her at the beginning of the Day, but she has got me convinced...and in her final scene...made me laugh a little...placing her badge on the table :=) nice touch
all we need now is a countdown to Season 8- lol |

The last season should be really good. Day 7 has given us some great new people to get to know. I can't wait to get it on dvd to rewatch it.
One of my favorite scenes was back near the begining when jack is escaping with tony from the fbi an jack jumps in that car gets it started and just before he hits the gas he says 'this is gonna hurt' hhahaa. I loved that. Anyway look forward to everyones post about favorite scenes. |

I do have to say I really enjoyed kims parts. I was afraid for a bit they where goin to do the same ole with her. But she really shined.
I kinda figured jack would go into a coma an kim would go ahead with the treatment. Although a typical ending it is the right way to do it because what daughter wouldn't do that for her father. Specialy if your father is jack bauer.
Anyway I hope kim is back for the final day an with a bigger part. I haven't cared for her sense day 1. An now in day 7.
Anyone else already ready for the final 24 hrs? |
