My Tony Almeida theory.

my theory about Tony Almeida is that, although he appears to be now, he is actually NOT a terrorist. I believe that Tony had good reason to kill Larry Moss, and to do all the other things he has done during day 7, e.g, scheming with that woman and the group. What I think is that Tony knows something about the events of day 7 that nobody else (Not even Jack) knows yet, and he feels he must act alone to put a stop to things. He could always have done what Jack is famous for, and have a small handful of people in on his plans, but perhaps the group is keeping too close tabs on him, and he feels he cannot afford to risk letting Jack in on the plan.

Another reason I believe this, is that after it was said that Carlos Bernard has been receiving hate mail due to Tony's "evilness" at the moment, the director of 24 and a couple of others were asked about this, and one of them said that these people should withhold all judgement until they have seen the final episode, as they do not yet know the full story.

Anyway, that is my theory, I shall ramble on no longer, and I'll let you all go and ponder that one out. Very Happy

I hope you are right about that one. It would give us all some closure, because altho we all knew Tony had issues, I don't think many of us are yet comfortable with the concept of Tony as evil. However, could you please quote or give a link to your actual source on the producers' comments. (Everyone please check The Briefing Room for the procedure for doing this.)
